Seasoned attorney to serve as Partner in the firm's Commercial & Business Litigation practice.
January 14, 2015 (Press Release) - Manion Gaynor & Manning LLP (MG&M) today announced Stephen D. Dargitz has joined the firm as a Partner in the firm's Commercial & Business Litigation practice. Based in Wilmington, DE, Mr. Dargitz will focus on complex commercial, corporate, and securities disputes with an emphasis on those relating to mergers and acquisitions.
A nationally recognized attorney with a well-established presence, Mr. Dargitz represents global automobile manufacturers, insurance companies, financial institutions, healthcare groups, food service providers, technology firms, and others in matters ranging from shareholder and M&A disputes to securities litigation, regulatory issues and general business litigation.
He advises on issues of corporate governance arising under Delaware law, including the fiduciary obligations of directors and officers. In addition to being a co-author of Mergers & Acquisitions Deal Litigation Under Delaware Corporation Law (2012), he has served on the Board of Editors of Folk on the Delaware General Corporation Law (6th ed. 2013).

The recruitment of Mr. Dargitz follows MG&M's recent announcement it has opened three new offices in New Orleans and Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Hattiesburg, Mississippi. In addition, MG&M added 11 new attorneys in 2014 in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, California, and Delaware in response to increasing client needs.
